Tullibardine Vintage 1993, 40 %

The Tullibardine 1993 vintage, bottled in 2011. The smell is showing a lot of notes of barley, classic schnapps and a bit like gasoline or diesel.

The taste is extremely malted. It is only 40 % but a bit powerful. After a couple of minutes the top of the alcohol wears of. First I gave it 20 points, but I like it better this way after a couple of minutes in the glass, and gave it an extra point.

The finish is much like the taste. Some notes of hay and grass appear, but not much else. The balance is fine but it is not that complex. I will give this 81/100 (19/21/20/21).
